I have the honour to submit for the signifi-
cation of His Majesty's pleasure Ordinance No.12 of 1905
entitled "An Ordinance to amend the General Loan and
Inscribed Stock Ordinance, 1893", together with the cus-
tomary Report of the Attorney General thereon.

This Ordinance has been passed in accordance
with the instructions contained in the 2nd. paragraph of
your despatch No.204 of the 3rd. November.
3. I take the opportunity of confirming my tele-
gram to you of yesterday's date:-
General Loan and Inscribed Stock Amendment
Ordinance passed today in accordance with instructions in your despatch of 3rd. November. Should be glad to know what are conditions of loan trust may be possible to borrow
money at not more than three and half per cent which is in- terest due on present loan. Consulting Engineers should advise on the amounts of dates of probable money require-
ments on account of Hongkong section of Railway bearing in
mind
